Terms of Use

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Grid Studio ("we", "our", or "the application"), an independent visual Instagram planning tool operated by Shivani Shah. By using Grid Studio, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service & Third-Party Platforms

• Grid Studio is an independent creator tool built on the Buffer API. It is not a Buffer product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Buffer Inc. or Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.).
• To use Grid Studio, you need an active Buffer account connected to at least one Instagram channel on which you have publishing permission.
• Posting, scheduling, and publishing are carried out by Buffer and Instagram. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

2. Your Account

• You sign in through Buffer. You are responsible for keeping your Buffer account secure and for all activity carried out through your connected account.
• Grid Studio is currently in private preview. Access is limited to approved accounts and may change at any time.

3. Your Content

• You keep full ownership of the photos, videos, captions, and other content you upload or create in Grid Studio.
• You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, display, and send your content to Buffer so the service can work.
• You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to the content you upload and publish, and that it follows Buffer's and Instagram's rules.

4. AI Alt-Text Credits

• Grid Studio includes an optional AI tool that drafts alt text for your photos when you click the AI button on an image.
• Each account receives 100 AI credits per calendar month. Credits reset automatically on the first day of each calendar month and do not carry over.
• One credit is used each time a description is successfully generated, regardless of whether you choose to keep, edit, or discard the suggestion. If a generation fails due to a network or service error, no credit is deducted.
• AI-generated descriptions may be inaccurate. Please review them before publishing.

5. Publishing, Drafts & Media Availability

• Disconnecting or deleting your Grid Studio account does not itself delete drafts or posts stored in Buffer.
• An explicit Delete post action in Grid Studio deletes the corresponding post from Buffer and its local display copy, while keeping any original Media Roll uploads. Buffer-created media shown by URL is not imported into your Media Roll.
• Posts already scheduled in Buffer may fail to publish if the media files they rely on are deleted, including through the Bin, disconnection beyond the 30-day grace period, or immediate account deletion.
• We are not responsible for posts that fail to publish, are delayed, or are changed because of Buffer, Instagram, or deleted media.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Grid Studio, including by attempting to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with the service, or using it to publish unlawful content.

7. Service Availability & Changes

• Grid Studio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features may change, pause, or be removed, especially during private preview.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Grid Studio.
• We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above shows when they last changed.
